Animal Care Collection Illawarra

Animal Care Collection Illawarra are run by a local family dedicated to rescuing fur babies. Their work also involves assisting other Rescue Services within the Illawarra region with support, supplies and donations.

Just this season alone, Foster Mum and Foster Sis, Sonia and Amber, have re-homed 60 dumped/abandoned cats and kittens.

Finding the right home for these precious fur babies can be quite the task but as you can imagine, the rescue journey and the rehabilitation process is a lot more complex than just finding these fur babies their forever home.

Many of these cats and kittens arrive into foster care; scared, malnourished and with a multitude of health issues.

In addition to cuddles, patience and a whole lot of tender love and care, all cats and kittens require regular vet checks, worming, flea treatments and vaccinations.

Each cat is also microchipped and de-sexed as a part of the re-homing process - the cost of which is partly included in the fee each 'Adoption Parent' is charged when welcoming and adopting a rescue cat/kitten.

Unfortunately, the 'income' from adoptions doesn't come close to covering the overall expenses in caring for these precious animals and as you can imagine the stress of keeping on top of the monthly vet bills, food expenses, bedding and endless bags of litter, just ends up being another thing to worry about for Foster Mum, Sonia.

So here is where we can step in and help out - and by doing so, this will also allow Sonia and Amber to focus solely on the needs of these fur babes and ease the stress and worries of the financial side of things!

All DONATIONS, no matter how big or small are a huge help and are greatly appreciated as they will go towards saving these precious animals lives. 100% of the PROCEEDS will go directly to cover the expenses of vet bills, medication, treatments, food, litter and more.
