Help find a cure for Huntington’s Disease

I am trying to raise funds and bring awareness to those who are unfamiliar with a terrible debilitating disease called Huntington’s Disease, a condition in which nerve cells in the brain break down over time.
My mother has Huntington’s Disease and this was passed onto her and her siblings from her mother who passed away from the disease at the age of 56. My mum was tested for the gene at an early age to discover she infact did carry the gene and from about 40 years of age, her symptoms slowly starter to appear. To see my mum at the age of 53, struggling with this disease that seems to now be rapidly taking her quality of life away, is the most heartbreaking thing my family have to face. I wish my beautiful mother was not sick from this cruel disease, I wish that nobody was, and I also hope that this is not something that has also been passed down to me and my brother because to have seen my grandmother suffer from Huntington’s and watch my mum support her mother through it all, to now watching my mother go through it all and me having to step up and be the best daughter that I can be to love and support her, is the hardest thing on this earth but I will do anything I can for this amazing and beautiful woman that deserves the absolute world. I have never brought this to light much but it is affecting my family more and more everyday and I would love to make my mum proud and raise funds and awareness and donate the funds to Huntington’s Victoria to help with further research in hopefully one day finding a cure.
