Joey Scouts Promise Challenge

Joey Scout Promise Challenge Badge:
The Promise Challenge Badge is the highest achievement that a Joey Scout can attain. It is not expected that all Joey Scouts will attempt and complete this Challenge, but all are welcome to give it a go.

Promise Challenge:
The Promise Challenge is an individual badge designed for the Joey Scout and has individual elements as well as activities to do for the Mob.
3 components:
-BP(founder of Scouting) / Scouting History
-Duty to God
-Duty to Self/Others

Meherab has chosen to raise money for The Royals Children's Hospital. Riding his bike for 40kms(self-set target) along the Werribee River. He is doing this to complete the Duty to Self/Others component of the Promise Challenge. Hoping to raise at least $200. We will take photos along the way of him riding his bike. Meherab will present his journey in the form of a large poster covering all 3 components of the challenge, to his Joey Scouts group and leaders.

This badge is generally the last Challenge Badge that they earn as a Joey Scout. It is the only Joey Scout Challenge badge that carries over to the next section i.e Cub Scouts.
