This fundraiser is in memory of Jinny Keogh who lost her battle to brain cancer in 2011 at the age of 46. For the past three years I have been growing my hair to a ridiculous length with the intention of donating it to be made into a wig for those suffering from medical conditions such as Cancer or Alopecia. In the next few weeks between 35 - 40cm will be cut off and donated through Sustainable Salons Australia who provide all donations to Variety Children's Foundation. Along with donating more than half of my hair, I am raising money for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, the peak organisation for brain cancer research, advocacy and awareness in Australia.
