My family has been heavily affected by Cancer having already lost family members, and having myself been diagnosed with thyroid cancer back in 2014.
In the past few years, I have completed Everest Base Camp and summited Mount Kosciusko, Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Elbrus. Last year I made it to 6000m on Aconcagua, the highest mountain in South America and the entire world outside of the Himalayas. Our entire team were unable to summit Aconcagua due to the unpredictable weather and extreme altitude it is notorious for.
This year I will be taking a break from Mountaineering while I recover from a surgery and focus on rock climbing, however next year I will be completing Mount Rainier in Washington, the perfect training ground for more technical winter peaks like Denali, which I hope to summit within the next few years. A few months later, I will then return to Aconcagua for the 20/21 season for my second attempt at the 6982m peak.
