I have been growing this beard on my face for a year next month, and I always wanted to colour it for Charity and rock it for a weekend before it finally coming off. Due to working in mental health, my own personal struggles in the past and the numerous people that struggle day to day with depression, BeyondBlue just seemed like the logical choice. Only a few days ago, an amazing bloke who I thought quite highly of, who was amazingly well liked in the heavy music scene and I had known out n about for many years, left this world after succumbing to the demons that had plagued him so long. I didn't know how to act in this situation, seeing how it has affected so many people, I decided that this would be my charity and my cause. My simple way of trying to bring some hope into a painful situation. I will be dyeing my beard a bright blue on the 2nd of Feb, when it is 1 year old, to signify awareness and also hopefully raise some money for this charity which does so much good work. This will h Please be generous to this cause as we all know someone affected by the black dog of depression, or someone going through another mental health issue.
