About
Less than 3 months after my first child was born my mother passed away as a result of an aggressive and undetected cancer.
In the first 3 months of 2018 it will be 6 years since mum passed. Early 2018 also marks the milestone of both my wife and I turning 40.
To mark this milestone and in the memory of my mother, I ask my family, friends, colleagues, associates, friends of friends and larger network to come together in financial support of a cancer-free future.
Cancer Council is Australia’s leading cancer charity and the only organisation that works across every area of every cancer:
*conducting and funding world-class research that underpins our work across the cancer journey *preventing cancer *supporting people as they navigate the cancer journey *advocating to ensure that governments take action on cancer.
At The Cancer Council NSW we're dedicated to defeating cancer.

I think it is a wonderful gesture that you are making and I celebrate the life of your mother together with that of my brother Nolin. Like your Mum the world is poorer for their passing and both are still sorely missed.
