As you are probably aware, Patrick was involved in an horrific accident whilst coaching in Albert Park on Tuesday, 28 November. He has broken the vertebrae in his back, 6 ribs and his scapula. He has recovered well enough to go home from hospital after an operation fusing his spine from T5 to T9. He will be out of action and in a back brace for 3 months and will need support. As you would appreciate his recovery will be a tough one involving initially a lot of support from his wife Nadelle as well as family and friends. It will also involve hours of costly rehabilitation. The purpose of this fundraising is to help take the heat off the Legge family during this period where he will be reliant on Nadelle and to pay for services during his rehabilitation. More importantly pay him a visit if you can and ask Nadelle what you can do to help.
