(PLEASE READ UPDATES!) Jarrah is a beautiful red cattle dog with a great life ahead of her! I rescued her from a family in Queensland who didn't treat her right and were getting rid of her due to moving. Jarrah is very timid due to this but after lots of hard work she is starting to be more confident with strangers. She is a very loving and smart pup.
My partner and I are a young couple and she is pretty much our child. We absolutly adore her and can't imagine loosing her. We are willing to do anything to see her back running around. She loves to play fetch and most of all run around down at our local beach.
About 4 months ago we noticed her having a limp in her back legs but was on and off so we assumed she may of just hurt herself a little. After a few weeks of her having on and off days we took her to the vet. They suspected it was just a minor injury and put her on anti inflammatory mediciaction. Since then we have been back 3 times and spent over $1000 of vet bills to really not get any awnser.
She is now needing advance imaging done (MRI) and possible surgery as they suspect she has a damaged disc in her lower back. This is causing her lots of pain and discomfort. She has good and bad days, bad days she can't walk or go to the toilet properly.
Please help, any donation will help. Thank you in advance!!
Please read my update as her circumstances have change and she is now in desperate need of surgery on both her knees
Jarrah is in need of an expensive MRI ($2500) and will most likely need surgery to correct a bulging disc in her spine. She has already had Xays and has been put on medication.
