On the 19th of November, we are taking on a marathon in Valencia, Spain. We are looking to raise some funds for STREAT, a Melbourne based social enterprise looking to combat youth homelessness.
STREAT works to provide supported vocational training and holistic personal support to marginalised and disadvantaged young people in Melbourne. STREAT exists to make a difference to young people who face a range of barriers and disadvantage. Within Australia, 105,000 people are currently homeless, with 44,000 of those being aged under 25 years.
Our aim is to raise some much needed funds for a very worthy cause. All proceeds will be donated directly to STREAT, so if you have any spare change or are feeling rather generous, don't be afraid to donate. Every donation, whether big or small, will go towards making positive change.
STREAT is a social enterprise devoted to supporting homeless and disadvantaged youth through life-skills support, education and training across our cafes and hospitality businesses. STREAT has helped over 800 young people since 2010, the majority going on to their first job or more education.

STREAT applauds you two amazing guys!! Thanks heaps for running your hearts out for the young disadvantaged kids we help here in Collingwood. It costs STREAT about $5000 for a young person to do our 18 week 'Main Course' - meaning you've raised enough to pay for half their course! Most of our trainees go on to graduate and get their first job. Thanks for helping us change some young lives.
Fantastic effort you two.
Regards, Ian from STREAT.
