For my 21st birthday I wanted to do something a little different. When I was 16 my wonderful Nan passed away from kidney failure caused by Multiple Myeloma, which is an incurable form of leukaemia. Initially when it was announced that she had weeks to live I intended on shaving my head in those coming weeks, until my nan promptly reminded me that I had my debutant in less thank six months and she didn’t want me to be bald when I did my deb to which I agreed. She then passed away at only 69 years of age. Since then I hadn’t felt like I had the chance to do it again. Partly because my hair is a big part of my job and I also had partially lost the balls id had previously to do it, but for this birthday I thought “fuck it” and decided to do something I’ve always wanted to do. Now obviously I’m not shaving a lot of hair off, nor am I going a complete 0 ???? but I am still doing this to raise awareness for leukaemia suffererers who still dont have a cure for their disease. I ask you all to make a small donation as a birthday present to me and all the people who lost their battle with cancer ????
