Beechworth Womens Shed Inc. are seeking bucket funds to kick us of the ground - we are a new Association that started in Feb 2017. To be operate in a viable manner and stay afloat we are seeking donations/ start up funds. These will be used responsibly to achieve our Registered Purposes that cover Health, Wealth, Environment and Welfare for rural women in North East Victoria. Just like Men's Sheds list Mental Health as a key focus. Connecting like minded women with Social Activities one positive step in the many steps to reduce the the early onset of Dementia. Various World Health reviews are reporting loneliness is just one contributing aspect. Helping Women stay socially connected prospers Health & Happiness. Presently in Australia we do not have enough Women's Sheds or support from Government bodies. We want to close the gaps in Womens needs by making them equal with funding grants in Australia. This however will take time! If you can help us now we would be very grateful, now matter how small!
