I am trying to raise funds for my beautiful and generous wife, Estelle, to get a nice wig.
Her battle with cancer (AML Leukemia) started at the early age of 9-years-old in 1999, which at the time, had no treatment. The doctors gave her a 1% chance of surviving the aggressive disease. She underwent a case study treatment including intensive Chemotherapy, invasive surgeries and a bone marrow transplant.
Against the odds she survived and has spent years dedicated to Cancer research and support by donating time, blood, skin and bone marrow for research.
The treatments that AML patients receive today is based off the case-study treatment she went through.
The chemotherapy left her with very thin, fragile and patchy hair. She has tried all kinds of "hair treatments" but none of them have worked.
I am hoping to raise enough money to buy her two different human-hair wigs from Freedom Couture to make her feel special.
