This July a group of nursing, paramedicine, midwifery and occupational therapy students from the Australian Catholic University are travelling to Vanuatu to volunteer in Port Vila Central Hospital and with associated medical services. As well as assisting the hospital staff and patients we would like to contribute to supplying resources to Vila Central Hospital, Pro medical, the Vanuatu Centre for Nurse Education and the surrounding rural and remote clinics which we are visiting. Hospitals and rural health clinics need a range of medical equipment. We truly believe everybody should have access to this equipment. Funding will go to simple resources and supplies like hospital uniforms, linen, scissors, forceps, gloves, gauze etc. We are asking for any donation big or small towards these resources. Any help will make a big difference.
