I will be challenging myself to run 100km in one week, some may think im crazy, others will think I can blitz it.
It's not just that extra bit of motivation for me I am doing this BUT it is to help raise more awareness for Sarcoma, diagnosis, latest treatments and research.
My motivation to start this fundraising is my mum Ana who died 23/05/2014 from Sarcoma which started in her heart, spread quite quickly at a rapid rate. She had operations, chemotherapy and various other procedures. Unfortunately 1 year from her diagnosis this vicious cancer took her life.
Sarcomas are a group of devastating cancers arising in the connective tissues, including fat, muscle, cartilage and bone. Two in five patients with Sarcoma will die from this awful disease.
This is a very rare cancer and very aggressive; the more research they can conduct, the more positive the outcome will be.
My aim is to raise $500 and will be going to Sarcoma Australia research.
All donations will help whether they are small or big. Dig deep and watch me as I post live videos of my achievements daily to reach my goal of 100km in one week - RUNNING! I will start my run on Monday 5th June ????
My Cause Gift Fund for Australia and New Zealand Sarcoma Association
Funds donated to the My cause Gift Fund will be disbursed to Australasian Sarcoma Study Group. The trustees will always disburse funds to the nominated cause, however in the case that that is not possible, the funds will be disbursed to a DGR charity at the trustees discretion.
