My name is Michelle Sheard and I am one of Christy McIntosh’s sisters. I have set up this crowd-funding page to raise funds to pay for some practical assistance for Christy and her family while she undergoes 6 months of chemotherapy. Christy was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma over a year ago. She is about to begin chemo as the symptoms of the tumour behind her eye are increasing. Christy is a young mum with 4 kids aged between 5 and 12. She lives with her husband Nathan on a farm in the Victorian Alps, with only Nathan’s elderly parents nearby for support. It’s going to be a tough 6 months for Christy as she deals with the treatment and its nasty side effects. While I can’t be there in person to help her, I wanted to find a practical way to provide support. Christy can use money raised to pay for some assistance at home with cleaning and meals.
