Official Update on Trevor Tree. On behalf of Helen, Ben, Josh, Jordy, Ellie & the extended family, they have asked me to let everyone know, that their beloved Trevor has passed away in the ICU Ward at the Coffs Base Hospital. The family has been overwhelmed by the love and support that has come to them in so many different ways. There's many words you can use to describe Trev, but the one big one which jumps out is generosity. This is an opportunity for us to help out and give back to this good fella and lovely family. Below are some words from Trev's good mate and surfing pal Tynon which sums up how many of us have experienced Trev's generosity and friendship... "I met him when he fixed our washing machine 22 + years ago. He’s offered to fix my car, my surfboard, my phone system, my internet, let alone my computer so many times. Having to argue with him to charge was not uncommon. How many jobs does he do where he spends more time than he charges. How often has he taken on more work than he can do, because he so wants to serve and support, because he so loves life and people. A man of boundless love, enthusiasm, creativity, cleverness and giving, we can’t help but realize this is payback time, a time to be there for him". In acknowledging Trev and in the spirit of sending love his way, one has to also note how beautiful a family Trev and Helen have made. Ben, Josh, Jordy & Eli are such a credit as well as the extended family & friendship circle surrounding. The passing of Trev's will place his wonderful family under financial stress from loss of income and related expenses. We openly encourage you to dig deep and give generously.
