DUKES St Stephens 2018 Expedition

At any one time we have over 100 humanitarian projects being undertaken by students in camps working with Camps International. I, along with a group of St Stephens College students, will be able to make a huge difference by undertaking projects which include:
- education
- housing
- health and sanitation
- food and water security
- environmental protection
- sustainable livelihoods

To help me reach my personal fundraising goal towards my life-changing expedition, I will be participating in various group fundraising activities with my fellow travelers, including but not limited to car washing, door to door fundraising, cake stalls, sausage sizzles, sponsorship and much more.

My school group will be taking part in ongoing conservation activities to protect valuable and sensitive ecological areas. Among other experiences, we will have the opportunity to learn Spanish, visit the amazing floating reed villages on Lake Titicaca and live the traditional way of life. This will be a fantastic experience and the highlight of our trip will be completing the Salkantay Trek to the world famous Incan Ruins of Machu Picchu.
