The 5k a Day in May challenge began in 2015 as a result of witnessing the daily struggles that dementia places on sufferers, family members, and carers. Through this challenge I hope not only to raise funds but to raise awareness of the importance of Brain Health and its holistic approach to the prevention of dementia in people as young as 40.
Myself, along with friends and family plan to run/walk/ride/surf/paddle (anything that takes our fancy) 5km per day throughout the month of May.
