Hello it's Amanda here. I'm a mother to an incredibly vibrant little girl who inspires me daily to live larger than where my comfort levels dwell. So I've recently donated to a local crowdfunding cause in the Bega Valley and think its an awesome way to help others to reach their goals faster. We're not always in a position to part with our money but there are times when we have an easy $50 to splash out on something or someone. I donated $40 anonymously and watched this woman actually reach her target! 40 bucks was all I could spare but collectively people power can achieve so much for such a little contribution. Now it's my turn to pluck up the courage to create my own crowdfunding campaign to fund the construction of my own Tiny home. I will be building one regardless of whether my campaign target is met or not however any money donated will simply get us there a whole lot faster! Living off grid in a minimalistic way is not only supporting my choices to be happier with less, but it also supports reducing our impact on the earth. I have transformed many gardens over my years of renting and would love to build a garden and a home that we can set our own roots in, and stay a while. A place where my daughter can feel anchored without either of us wondering when our lease is up. The thought of going public in a world-wide-web kind of way isn't easy. But somehow I feel liberated at the thought of our potential. Having our own little home is actually a possibility!! Pledges can be as little or as great as you like. Quite literally. ...every tiny bit helps when your crowdfunding. If I reach a crowd of 300 people and they all chipped in $50 then my target is reached!!!
