There are now 28 children living at KSEDO. They are provided with basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing and education, including 3 different languages. However, the children rarely get to leave the centre, or the province of Siem Reap. Sophorn has promised the children she will reward them for their good grades in school and for doing chores around the centre, by taking them on a holiday to Sihanoukville; the southwest coast of Cambodia. I am now working with Sophorn to raise the funds to make this much-needed, hard-earned, trip possible. Not only will the children get a break from school work, chores, and the stresses of the centre, they will be able to explore and learn more about their own country.
The intended dates for the trip are May 15th - 18th 2017
The estimated budget is as followed: (US$)
Hire a bus for 4 days - $1,000 Guesthouse for 3 nights - $300 Food 3 times a day for 4 days - $384 Emergency money - $100
As KSEDO doesn't receive any other funding, your donations will be the only way to make this happen. Any amount will be greatly appreciated, please help me make a wish come true for these beautiful children. It's the least I can do after all the happiness they have brought me.
In January 2011, after receiving permission from the chief, Ms Sophorn Chhim opened KSEDO orphanage. It had always been her dream to be able to help the vulnerable children living on the streets of Cambodia. Some orphans, some victims of violence, abuse and neglect.

These kiddos are so deserving of a holiday !! They are so hardworking, respectful, and grateful for every opportunity gifted to them. I was lucky to spend time with them during my time in Siem Reap and very grateful to know these little happy hearts, personally. Good luck reaching your fundraising goal!
