Hi my name is Carly, my brother Michael and my dad Kym.
We all have something in common (apart from being the loving family we are ????) We all share a love for an amazing local family, Toni and Andy Mantle and their 3 young children Balin, Quade and Amity. We have known this family for many years and they have, we feel become a true part of our family. When we heard of news that our dear mate Andy was diagnosed with colon cancer ( read further information attached in the link below) And that the fight was far from over, we did what any family would do find a way we could offer our assistance or should I say offer something...
We all have something else in common too...HAIR! that we have grown attached to (literally), my long hair I've been growing for years, my brothers surfy hair he has taken ages to grow finally getting to a "the perfect" length and lastly my dads moustache he has not shaved for 40 years!!! Many people have not seen this man without his beloved test of time tash including us!
We have decided to chop off all the luscious locks, shave the surf hair and remove the relic of a mo. In the hope of raising some money for our dear mate Andy Mantle and his family to help pay for expenses during this trying time.
The "Big Chop & Shave" will take place at: A fundraiser dinner & Auction for Andy The Boston Football Club On March the 18th
Andy will get the first satisfying "chop and shaves" Paige Swalue from Natural skin and hair Port Lincoln has kindly donated her time & skills.
You can also donate to our 'Chop & shave for a mate so brave' Donation tins around various businesses in port Lincoln.
All donations go to Andy and his family.
