This beautiful girl Brie has suffered some serious health issues most of her life, but after years and years of studying for her dream career she found herself dealing with even larger health issues that resulted in her no longer being able to practice her chosen career helping others.
A brain tumour, epilepsy, massive digestive issues that require tube feeding and now this terrible diagnosis of MS.
Brie has a beautiful husband who is very supportive and after dealing with so much stress in their lives together has very recently lost his job. With him being the sole income earner they no longer have an income to support the mounting medical bills or any cash for daily expenses.. Whilst they search for employment urgently they just don't have the financial capacity to pay for just the basic costs like food and rent
Brie and Leonard are gorgeous well deserving people that have been dealt a really tough hand and with her recent diagnosis of MS life from here is just going to get harder.
Please dig deep and donate as much as you can to help them with a hand up to get on top of things whilst they deal with so much grief and work towards accepting their future.
Salvador (in the photo with Brie) is her service dog and with her 24/7 to help her deal with so many of the symptoms already present with this awful illness.
MS is a life sentence and we can only hope that the treatment will slow the symptoms, but it cannot cure her. Life ahead is going to be tough and they need to start thinking of things like 24/7 care facilities as the she could deteriorate very quickly depending on how her body accepts the treatments available (and they are not great - there is very little research and knowledge or treatments)
They live such a simple life already and there is no room for them to cut back to get through this time. They already live off only $40 per week for a food allowance, so anything you can give will go a long way in their lives.
Leonard needs a job (he is a qualified barista and manager of cafe's) and the generous support from friends to help them through.
Brie gives so much to everyone she knows and lights up peoples lives daily. She has a contagious laugh and such a beautiful outlook on life. Brie has been dealing with mental illness all her life and openly shares this journey to help others. It is time for her to catch a break and feel the love and support from all of us around her.
