On the 9th of November, our beautiful brother and brother-in-law Gerard McCaffrey died following a 13 year battle with a brain tumour. He leaves behind his wife Emily and four young children Patrick, Joseph, Louis and Finian. Due to the nature of Gerard's illness, there were long periods of time when he was unable to work, which severely curtailed his earning capacity and had a significant impact on the family's finances. Despite this, when he was able to, he resumed work. By his bravery, he inspired all who met him. Emily now needs to provide for their four boys on her own. Many of you have asked how you can help. So we have created this appeal to raise $60,000 to assist Emily with living and education expenses over the coming year as they come to terms with life without their beloved father and husband.
