One of our colleagues has just lost his sister with bowel cancer which spread through vital organs and she was unable to be saved. From the time that she was diagnosed to death took 5 weeks. The absolutely wonderful people in palliative care from Newcastle Mater Hospital and her local town hospital in Scone were unbelievable when it came to support and their caring nature helping his family with what they were going through this tough time.
We at B&J Greenacre recognise what a tragic event this must be to deal with day to day and also the hard work that these caring people put in to help make sick patients more comfortable and want to give a little back to make their jobs easier in any way possible.
The B&J team is challenging themselves on a military style obstacle coarse over 20km called "Tough Mudder" on 22nd of October to raise money for these hard working people. If you could please donate any money to support this cause it will be appreciated.

Funds donated to the My cause Gift Fund will be disbursed to Calvary Mater Newcastle Public Hospital. The trustees will always disburse funds to the nominated cause, however in the case that that is not possible, the funds will be disbursed to a DGR charity at the trustees discretion.
