On Friday the 4th of March 5am, Shirley’s maroon Mazda was stolen from her driveway on Wards road in Glenwood. Shirley, 73, is a pensioner and this was her only way to get around. It was not an expensive car, but it will take her at least 18 months to save for a new one.
Can you spare $30 to help Shirley get on with her life?
Shirley's car was uninsured, and she spent her savings purchasing it, and servicing, tyres, etc. She is a Glenwood local, and rents the house in which she lives. Shirley sells eggs to the community from her home on Wards road, and also drives eggs to a number of elderly residents of Bauple.
The money we are raising will help this elderly Glenwood resident a great deal. This experience has been difficult for her, so let's pass the hat around to get Shirley back on her feet.
