Great Greenwood Shave Off

FACT: 78% of women diagnosed with secondary breast cancer die within 5 years of diagnosis.

Inspired by his Dad 'Stiks' efforts raising almost $10,000 for secondary breast cancer research, former New Mexico Lobo and Adelaide Crows mature age recruit Hugh Greenwood is now also offering up his locks for a cause close to his heart.

Already the rock behind his wife Andree's personal battle with metastatic breast cancer, Michael Greenwood (aka 'Stiks' as he is affectionately and widely known) is sacrificing his flowing locks that have been steadfast for more then 40 years!!! Only those who knew him in his younger years have been witness to what lies beneath.

In honour of the many women battling secondary breast cancer 'The Great Stiks (now Greenwood) Shave Off' aimed to raise $7,800 by the Seconds Count Gala Ball in June to raise awareness about its devastating effects and to represent this 78% of women who face this prognosis. Cracking that figure, son Hugh has now teamed up with Stiks to try and raise even more money towards research.
