THE Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund has been launched for the victims of the South-West bushfires.

The fund, which is operated by an independent board, has been activated to raise and co-ordinate donations.

The money will be used to help those who are affected by the disaster — one of WA’s worst bushfires — to rebuild their lives.

Funds donated to the My cause Gift Fund will be disbursed to Lord Mayors Distress Relief Fund - WA. The trustees will always disburse funds to the nominated cause, however in the case that that is not possible, the funds will be disbursed to a DGR charity at the trustees discretion.
