Kori's Kindness

Kori is a survivor of Group B Streptococcal bacteria, the biggest killer in newborn babies.

Kori became gravely ill on July 10th 2015 with Group B Streptococcal Meningitis. MRI scans show that Kori's brain has sustained substantial damage to her frontal and side lobes. Going forward, this could cause Kori to suffer from different spectrums of Cerebral Palsy and/or Autism, however, it isn't too late to help her recover from these brain injuries. Babies are known to be able to repair damaged brain tissue and re-wire brain pathways. Through therapies and different sensory activities we can help Kori reach her full potential to live a full and independent life but we need your help. The therapies available to Kori are not cheap on a single income (Mum can not work as Kori requires full time care due to suspected Epilepsy). Any financial help you can provide is appreciated beyond words. The funds we raise will go towards therapy, development and sensory toys, medications and natural healing aids (DHA - Omega 3 treatments, Pro-biotic treatments, Holistic Therapies).

A percentage of money raised will go towards raising awareness around Group B Streptococcal and prevention methods available to all mothers and newborns.
