Bike ride from Perth to Adelaide (2,500km) for Indian orphanage.
This "west-coast-to-centre" section will complete the drawing of a virtual cross on Australia by bicycle & I have already completed North-South Darwin to Adelaide and East-West Sydney to Adelaide ride sections.
All funds go directly to the Indian orphanage at Ammapalem administered by the Indian charity: Calvary Peace Ministries International, Director David Vedanaya Elia.
We know David personally, have been to the orphanage in India and know that all donations go directly to the orphanage rather than any administrative overheads. The orphanage takes children from babies to about 21years, clothes, feeds, provides schooling, has a sewing centre a computer training centre and is run by volunteers.
Previous rides: Darwin to Adelaide and Sydney to Adelaide rides for Christian Charity Project to build a 20 meter high cross in the centre of Australia near Alice Springs: Raise The Cross Project via Walk A While Foundation.
