On Sunday 23 August 2015 I will be running my first marathon.
To make it more worthwhile, I'm raising money for Lifebox.
Lifebox grew out of a global initiative by the World Health Organization to make surgery safer across the globe. They are a global champion of safer surgery in low-resource countries and work to spread resources and education to improve surgical safety.
US$250 provides a hospital in need with: • A pulse oximeter • A universal probe, suitable for ages 1 and older • Rechargeable batteries • A protective case, clip, AC/DC adapter charger and cradle • Educational materials about pulse oximetry, and classroom programmes so that they are able to teach others • A copy of the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist
Please note donations to Lifebox from Australia are non- tax deductable.
Good luck!
