Outback Trailblazer

The Outback Romeos Ride Again.

Outback Romeos is a team of volunteers participating in the Outback Trailblazer Challenge (www.outbacktrailblazer.com.au), raising funds for the Angel Flight charity (www.angelflight.org.au).

Angel Flight is a unique charitable service for regional communities, providing free of charge air services for remote and regional community members. These services are non-emergency medical or other vital services, that are only available in cities, potentially thousands of kilometers away. Angel Flight pilots are not employed, they are everyday people who regularly give their planes and their time to fly out and assist those that cannot undertake the journey by car or are unable to afford regular air travel.

These people are modern day heroes.

The team using 10 Alfa Romeos is one of the largest in the Outback Trailblazer.

This will be broadcast over two half hour Queensland Weekender television specials played state wide on the 7 network, along with a host of other local press and radio The Outback Romeos will dominate media coverage and overwhelmingly will be the largest visual attraction in the event, bringing considerable benefit to associated partners in the event.
