Flinders Fringe Festival 2025-2026

Celebrating the arts and our community is at the heart of this festival. The purpose of Flinders Fringe Festival Incorporated is to create arts events to unite and entertain the community and to showcase both recognised and emerging artists and new works across a variety of genres, which celebrate the diversity of the community and beauty of the natural environment; and acknowledges and pays respect to the traditional custodians of the sacred lands and waterways, the Bunurong/Boon Wurrung people of the South-Eastern Kulin Nation and other First nations people living on the Mornington Peninsula.

Since its inception in August 2022, Flinders Fringe has produced:
• three summer festivals on 2023, 2024, 2025,
• two Winter Warmers in 2024 & 2025
• a return sell-out season of ‘Sea Wolves Howl’
• ‘Street Requiem on the Ridge’ a fundraiser for the homelessness services on the Peninsula.

New works have been created and commissioned through a combination of ticket sales, donations and the MP Shire Performing Arts Development Grant Program and the Creative Grants Program, the Mornington Peninsula Shire.

The festival has been supported by the generosity of our Festival Partners, Festival Supporters, Community Partners, Festival Patrons and the Friends of Flinders Fringe. We could not have scaled up our program or offered so many free events without them.

The Flinders Fringe Festival has recently registered as a deductible gift recipient (DGR). This enables the FFF Inc to receive tax deductible donations/gifts.

All of this creative output is driven by the volunteers of the Flinders Fringe Festival and powered by the enthusiasm of the Festival Volunteers.

To support the development of new theatrical work and to keep the tickets affordable the festival committee has a fund-raising target of $50,000. Donations big and small are gratefully received and are tax- deductible.
