Beyond the Trek: Harry’s Ongoing Fundraising 2025 to 2026

Harry’s incredible three-month, 1,100km Outback Trek may have come to an end, but his journey of support for Craniofacial Australia is far from over. From now until his next big trek with Henry & George in 2026, Harry will continue raising vital funds and awareness by visiting pubs, businesses, and community groups locally in South Australia, and during his travels through outback South Australia and Western Australia. Even without the horses by his side, Harry remains committed to rallying support so that children and families living with craniofacial conditions know they’re not alone.

Why I Took on the 2025 Outback Trek

In March 2025, I had an 8-hour surgery to remove a benign tumour from the side of my head. This experience gave me a new perspective what babies and young children go through when they have craniofacial surgeries. The biggest difference? I could communicate how I was feeling - they can’t! That really hit home for me.

That’s why this year, I’m more determined than ever to support Craniofacial Australia.

To do that, I’ll be embarking on an 1100km journey through the outback of New South Wales, traveling from Balranald to Lightning Ridge with my two Clydesdale horses, Henry & George, and our red wagon behind us. More locations listed below.

This adventure will take three months, covering around 20km per day. Each step and hoofprint will be worth it to support kids facing their own challenging craniofacial journeys.

Every dollar raised helps fund vital research, provide care packs for kids heading into surgery, and offer financial support to families who need it most. These kids are absolute warriors, and I want to do everything I can to help make their journey a little easier.

So, I’m taking on this trek - not just for me, but for them. If you can donate, I’d be so grateful. Every little bit helps, and together, we can make a real difference.

How do I raise funds and awareness?

Along the way, I’ll be stopping in outback towns, pubs, schools, farm stations, and caravan parks - meeting incredible people and sharing the Craniofacial Australia story and raising funds. I’ll also be spreading awareness just by being out on the road, chatting with people I bump into and explaining why this cause is so important.
