The Bibbulmun Track traverses 1000km between Perth and Albany in W.A. Beginning early May I’ll attempt to walk a solo unsupported End to End, fundraising for Endometriosis Australia.
1 in 7 Australian women live with endometriosis at some point in their lives. This painful, incurable disease impacts on daily life and can lead to infertility.
Having personal experience of relatives and friends with this illness my goal is to walk the track in 52 days carrying all I need and resupplying in towns. Any pain or discomfort I may endure on my walk will have an end date, unlike the physical, emotional and psychological pain endured by endometriosis sufferers.
Endometriosis Australia is a nationally accredited charity that endeavours to increase recognition of endometriosis, provide endometriosis education programs, and provide funding for endometriosis research.
