Hi, I’m Ana, a single mum to two beautiful little ones, aged 3 and 1. In 2020, my life changed when I became disabled due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which causes my joints to dislocate constantly, and a neurological condition caused by domestic violence that affects my balance, coordination, and ability to feel my legs.
My Story:
Being a mum with a disability is hard, but I do everything I can for my kids. My wheelchair recently broke, and now I’m relying on a borrowed one just to get through each day. Without a proper wheelchair, simple things—like taking my kids to the park, daycare or doing everyday tasks—become almost impossible. SWEP funding covers $1,000, but I still need to raise $16,500 to get a wheelchair that will truly give me the freedom to be the best mum I can be.
Why I Need Your Support:
This wheelchair isn’t just equipment—it’s my independence. It’s how I keep up with my kids, take care of them, and live my life. Any amount you can give, big or small, will make a huge difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support. Please share my story and help me get moving again!
