Autism/ADHD assessments

Hi, my name is Genevieve. I am a 45yo non-partnered parent to my 7yo son and 4yo daughter. I am asking for assistance to cover our assessments for autism and ADHD. I have been waiting to get this diagnosis for years and my appointment has finally come up.
My children are also on public waiting lists, which may take years. I have them on waiting lists for private assessment, where there are still minimum twelve month backlogs.
The money I had set aside earlier this year had to be used for unexpected circumstances and expenses. I have exhausted all avenues for loans, advance payments, etc.
Unfortunately, I became unemployed earlier this year. I have been looking for work, and have not yet been successful.
While I was able to pay a 40% deposit for my two combined assessments, I still need $1800.
With my lifelong experience of what I now highly identify with as autism and ADHD, I have slipped through the cracks with my mental health, which has in turn affected my physical health. With the assessment, I am hoping to confirm my diagnosis and get the appropriate supports I need so I can better support myself and my family.
Unfortunately, I can't get my assessment report until I can pay the amount owing. But once I get that report, I will have much more access to support for employment and ongoing health care.
If I can also get timely assessments for my children, I hope to set them both up for more optimistic futures, with the support they need.
