AFL Indonesia, the body representing the Jakarta Bintangs, Bali Geckos, and Borneo Bears, is seeking donations to help send two Garudas national teams to this year’s AFL Asia Cup. The Asia Cup will take place from December 6–8 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This tournament is exclusively for national players and it replaces the AFL International Cup, which was last held in 2017 in Melbourne. We proudly sent a men’s Garudas team to that tournament in both 2014 and 2017. This year, we are excited to send both a men’s and women’s Garudas team to the AFL Asia Cup, with each squad comprising 15 Indonesian players. All funds raised will go toward team uniforms, airfares, and other in-country expenses. Any donation will be greatly appreciated, and there will also be an opportunity for supporters to sponsor individual players once the final team names are announced in the coming weeks. Go Garudas!
