Hello, I am Abhishek, your independent candidate for Kennington Ward, in the upcoming 2024 City of Greater Bendigo Council elections. My wife, my daughter, and I have lived in Kennington for more than 14 years and we love everything the city offers. We love its sense of community, its amazing parks and gardens, its arts and cultural potential, and how locals always come together to help others. As a community leader and through my work with local food relief and mental health services, I also see the challenges locals are facing, which is why I want to run for council. I’m dedicated to improving local services such as the Bendigo East pool, ensuring affordable housing options, and fostering economic growth.
