Bali Animal Care is a not-for-profit organisation that is dedicated to improving the lives of animals in Bali. Established in 2020 by two expats that live on the island – who donate their time - with enormous assistance from local residents and veterinary clinics, we are focused on assisting sick, injured and free roaming animals whether owned or not. With the outbreak of the pandemic, the situation for Bali animals deteriorated considerably and this is what prompted Wendy and Jill to help them. Animals were rejected, dumped and left to their own devices. This led to fewer sterilisations, with litters of puppies and kittens growing by the day and more and more cases of starvation, skin issues, distemper and cat flu. Our objective is to help animals in need in our wide-ranging local area, offering care, shelter and veterinary assistance and at the same time provide support, assistance and education to the Balinese people in the care of their animals. By setting up Bali Animal Care and with the help of donations from Europe, Australia and Indonesia, we continue to work with neglected street and beach animals in Bali. Your donation goes a long way here and the animals are extremely grateful.
