Meet Jack Thompson - Multiple World Record Holder & Global Mental Health and Wellbeing Ambassador.
Jack's dream is to succeed in riding the 1,067km Munda Biddi Trail against a clock that never stops and establishing an Ultra Cycling World Record, commencing in the Shire of Mundaring and concluding at Centenary Park Albany - an expected journey time of 2 1/2 days.
As a professional Ultra Cyclist, living with mental health challenges, Jack is passionate about giving back to the community. Jack's vision is to share his journey through the storytelling of the physical and mental challenges he faced in preparing for the project, the attempt and its outcome and inspire the next generation of dreamers that in life you can DREAM big and succeed.
Stretching in excess of 1,000km through towering Eucalyptus trees splashed against the harsh West Australian coastline that is Jack’s native backyard, the Munda Biddi Trail offers a ride like no other.
Jack will be sharing his DREAM with an estimated 5,000 children and communities of Albany, Nannup, Manjimup, Vasse, Busselton, Mundaring and Perth..
The Munda Biddi Dreaming project will be captured by a documentary crew who will produce a 15-minute documentary.
Please help support this trek by donating to Jack's 2 charity fundraising partners the Munda Biddi Foundation and the Happiness Co Foundation.
The Ride will commence on Friday 24th November from Mundaring and conclude Sunday 26th November in Albany.
