Fellow ocean lovers,
On the 17th November 2023, I will attempt to set a Guinness World Record by swimming 100 x 25m laps underwater in 1 hour using DNF (Dynamic-No-Fins, aka underwater breast stroke) technique .
Over the years I’ve completed countless laps in the water and invested thousands of hours into land exercises in order to master my DNF technique and my body’s ability to perform while carrying high levels of CO2. I will need to hold my breath for at least 42 minutes of the 1 hour World Record Attempt! Is this even possible?
As a freediver, I’ve seen a lot of plastic pollution at the most remote, beautiful and wildest places on Earth.
The oceans of the Earth are the lifeblood of our planet. They can exist without us. But we cannot exist without them. We need them. They need us.
I'm excited to team up with Take3 For the Sea, a local charity with a cause that's so close to my heart. Every breath, every stroke, every lap, every piece of plastic that you pick up, every dollar counts!
Donations made through this platform are secure and 100% will be passed directly through to Take3 for the Sea.
Thanks so much for your support!
