Hello beautiful people and welcome to Prince & I's 2023 Seeing Eye Dogs (Vision Australia) & Barwon Health Fundraising Page! ??
My name is Lily Alford, I am a 23 year old from the Geelong-Colac Area and this is my Guide Dog Prince!
On November 12th 2023 Prince & I will be participating in the Run4Geelong 5km walk to support the vital work of Barwon Health (Including Geelong & Colac Hospital!) ?
As most of you know, I am a Guide Dog-Wheelchair user. Prince & I were matched early in 2021 as a walking team, and have just celebrated our 2 year anniversary! In late 2021 I lost my ability to walk, and thanks to the support and generous donations of members of the community to Vision Australia - my Guide Dog Prince was able to be trained to become a Wheelchair Guide. ?
When I realised that I could give back to the two most crucial organisations of my life, I had to sign up. Barwon Health are the reason I am still here today, and Vision Australia are the reason I have been able to become the person I am today.
We would be absolutely greatful for any donations, love or support to pull us over the finish line & to help give back to the two foundations that have supported us the most. ?
