We would like to request that in lieu of flowers to consider making a donation to Laverton Community Integrated Services(LCIS). Or to volunteer there.
Both of these would be wonderful ways of honouring his generous spirit.
Joe has been an essential member of the Laverton community since he moved there in 1963.
He was involved in so many organisations in Laverton, Laverton Community Integrated Services(LCIS), the Hub (formerly known as the Laverton Community Centre), Laverton Skate Centre (formerly known as the West End Roller Disco), Laverton Hobson's Bay Community Financial Services, Laverton Swim & Fitness Centre, One Voice Choir, Benetas, Laverton Rotary Club, Knights of the Southern Cross, St Martin de Porres Parish, Queen of Peace Parish, Old Laverton School, Laverton Retail Traders Association, Around Laverton newspaper, Gateway Support Options and so many more.
Joe was particularly proud of his involvement with Laverton Community Integrated Services(LCIS) as it was his starting point for meeting so many of his community associates and lifelong friends.
He had so much passion for helping people and he really cared about Laverton. He invested so much time in helping others especially in his local community.

Together we can honour Joe by showing support to the community that he helped build over the 60 years he lived in Laverton.
