Raising funds for: Jacinta Tobin & the Mutitjulu Women
Dear Donors, Here is an article about the amazing week that was just had. Thank you, thank you, we are already talking about return trip and this one was just the Art side of learning. Maybe next time less is best but more will come. Xox Please follow link to see the article. http://midmtnulocalnews.com/ We raised the funds. What an amazing achievement from the ground roots communities thank you to all that helped this happen. Xoxoxo Flights and accommodation are booked. The song Women from Mutitjulu will be in Sydney this afternoon. The Seven Sisters Songline/Spiral is an important story and ceremony that connects across the Australian continent. The Mutitjulu community have been keeping this story safe for the Dharug, Darkinjung, Dharawal, Gundungurra, and Wiradjuri the Traditional Custodians of the Blue Mountains area. This is the first step another trip will be needed in the future will keep you all posted. There are so many I need to thank but I must thank to my beautiful Blue Mountains Community for clothes, donations, and support. The University of Sydney and The Sydney Conservatorium for flights, Kimberwali The Aboriginal Centre for excellence in Western Sydney for accommodation and food cost, Near or Far Bus and Coach for making our travel smooth and easy, Blue Mountains City Council Aboriginal services for Art supplies, Northern Sydney Local Health District Aboriginal services for Covid tests kits and transport cost, Western Sydney Local Health District ugg boots, socks and blankets. Colour Art Springwood for running around, Kihilla for accommodation and their understanding of koori time, Food to Fill for catering and being so flexible. Big thanks to all of you who have donated to make this happen. The Mutitjulu women will need to return again to complete the ceremony at some point in 2023 (time to be determined.) This is a historic event. The return of this important ceremony and story that’s been kept safe since colonisation is now returning to Country where it belongs. We raised funds to help pay for: 8 x return flights Uluru to Sydney Accommodation and food for all participants of the ceremony ( 50 women plus) Charter a bus from Sydney Airport to the Blue Mountains and a returning bus to the airport Paints and arts Material Recording Equipment Well done all. Thank you for your support, it is truly appreciated, and we hope when you connect to the earth, you feel the magic of this ceremony. Please share with your networks. All funds raised will go towards ensuring this ceremony takes place properly.

Thank you all so much. I'm a bit lost for words we have hit over the halfway mark .??? Amazing contributions from so many having the future vision for the better health of this beautiful Country. This brings reconnection of cultural dance, song, art, and knowledge of Songline's connection throughout Australia.

I am blown away by the financial support and the sending of the request out to many. All of you have helped to make this happen. I am honoured and grateful to you all and sending big hugs and kisses. Due to the women having other engagements the 8th to the 14th of May has now been postponed which gives us a little more time to organize. When I am giving the news dates I will up date you all.
