Eden reads stories to little children and hopes it will help people with a second language to enjoy beautiful, classic stories. She also likes to choose stories with a lovely message.
Edie is also learning to be thoughtful of the needs of others, to be kind and generous, and think of ways she can bless other people.
She is fortunate enough to have always had a very full head of hair that grows quickly and is long and healthy. We don't use shampoos and conditioners with any toxins in it and it has a lovely natural curl and amazing colour.
One day she saw a little girl with bald head and she was a little bit scared to be honest. She was about 4 and so we explained that the girl had a condition called alopecia and that she must feel very lonely to be the one who stands out and also maybe worried what people would think.
We also learnt about cancer and how the poison that kills the cancer also kills just about everything else in the body and leaves people without eyelashes, eyebrows and hair.
Over some time of discussion she came to her own conclusion that she was ready to donate hair and help someone suffering out. We haven't yet found a place to donate to (dont know whether to donate to a local sustainable hairdresser or to an organisation such as look good, feel better, or variety - kids cancer , or the alopecia foundation in Australia. But we will find a place we align with to donate her hair. IN the meantime we would like to highlight the increase of cancers in small children AND the condition Alopecia that affects so many throught Stress.
A part of the proceeds (probably 10%) will go towards Eden's YouTube channel to help us get better lights and a microphone which will be awesome too!
Thanks for supporting her and the kids who are suffering.
We are so excited to hear from you AND to hear the final results.
