Five years ago I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). Many people mark their five-year anniversary because it holds emotional significance. It’s also a benchmark where patients can be more optimistic that their cancer won’t return. Please help me celebrate this milestone by donating to assist Breast Cancer Trials work with doctors and researches to get more people to five years. I feel lucky because after standard treatments, such as chemo and surgeries, I was able to participate in a Breast Cancer Trials study which found a therapy to reduce re-occurrence for BRCA+ TNBC by 33%. The trial helped me get to five so let’s all pull together to raise $5k to get more people with BRCA+ TNBC to five too.
