Daniel will be running two half-marathons during the months of September and October to raise money for headspace.
headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. headspace can help young people with mental health, physical health (including sexual health) alcohol and other drug services, and work and study support.
With COVID-19 and lockdowns as the new reality, Dan believes that charities like headspace are more important than ever, and can really help people in our age bracket who are doing it tough, and alone now more than ever.
Daniel has never run more than 10km, and has enjoyed staying healthy ,and the challenge of building up to running these races, and it has really helped his mental health during lockdown. He hopes to raise some money for what he believes is a worthy cause.
