Laps for Blighty

As you may be aware, we lost one of OSCA’s legends and former presidents Nick Blight to bowel cancer at the age of 35 earlier this year. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Nick would agree that he was a fantastic bloke and would not have a single bad thing to say about him. His loss has been felt immensely by his family, friends, current and past OSCA players, as well as the wider OSCA community.

In honour of Blighty, and together with his family, OSCA would like to invite you to attend and participate in "Laps for Blighty" on the 31st of October at Scotch College Oval No.2, where Blighty did most of his good work on the cricket field. The day will involve attendees (and their sponsors) donating a minimum of $5 per lap walked individually in aid of Bowel Cancer Australia.

The goal will be 1800 laps, the total of runs (1556), wickets (240) and years as OSCA president (4) Nick contributed to the club. Donations for your individual laps can be made by clicking "Donate" on this page. Individuals undertaking 20 laps ($100 donation) or more will receive a Special Blighty Souvenir on the day.
