About
Bowel cancer is the second biggest cause of cancer deaths in Australia, with around 100 lives lost each week. 1 in 13 of us will be diagnosed in our life time, with an increasing number of young-onset cases. Most of us will know of someone whose life has been impacted by this disease and for our family this came last year when we lost my Dad/Noah's Grandad very suddenly.
In his memory, this September we will be getting our 'Rear into Gear' and attempting to cycle the 1000km, Munda Biddi off-road trail, to help raise funds for Bowel Cancer Australia.
Bowel Cancer Australia is a 100% community funded charity so any contribution, no matter how small, will help them continue their great work in raising awareness of this disease. This is so important when almost 99 percent of cases can be successfully treated with early diagnosis.
